After leaving Disney, Mary worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator, creating advertising campaigns and illustrating several Little Golden Books, some of which are still in print today. David McAliser ’Dave’ Barry is a Pulitzer Prize winning American author and columnist and Ridley Pearson is an author of adventure books for children. Together, they have co-authored Peter and the Starcatchers (2004), a prequel to Peter Pan, followed by three additional prequels as well as three Never Land books: Escape from the Carnivale (2006), Cave of the Dark Wind (2007) and Blood Tide (2008).
